WHILE space continues to come at a costly premium in the property market, there are many people who would prefer to take up as little room as possible.
The yearning for a simple life and search for low-cost housing have brought a great interest in the tiny-house movement.
Designer Eco Tiny Homes director Grant Emans decided to focus his construction business on these micro houses on wheels last year after attending a conference about them in the US, where the movement originated.
“People aren’t just buying them because they are cute, they are doing it as a lifestyle choice,” he says.
